Dark Mode Display Fixes Are Here

Dark Mode Display Fixes Are Here

What Was Happening

If you use dayli.space in dark mode, you may have noticed some frustrating display quirks — most notably, active filter buttons that seemed to disappear entirely. This was caused by missing color definitions behind the scenes, which forced certain interface elements to fall back to light-mode colors, resulting in white text on a white background.

What's Been Fixed

This update addresses several dark mode visibility issues across the app:

  • Active filter buttons in the task list are now clearly visible with the correct brand colors
  • Inactive filter buttons now display with a softer gray tone for better contrast
  • The upgrade prompt button in the modal now has a proper dark background instead of appearing washed out
  • Loading spinners in the task editor, settings, and folder selection screens now show correct borders in dark mode

No Action Needed

Everything has been fixed automatically — just refresh the app if you have it open and you're good to go. These changes are purely visual and don't affect your tasks or data in any way. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to keep sending feedback so we can keep making dayli.space better for everyone.
